Hey there, I'm Chelsea, your friendly, neighborhood, Tokyo Photographer on a mission to capture life's most precious moments!
I am a 32-year-old wife and mom of three, living in the vibrant country of Japan! When I'm not capturing your moments behind the lens, you can find me spending time and exploring Japan with my family. I’m a NO SHAME Disney adult and we are a Disney family, so Tokyo DisneyLand is a somewhere we often go together! I also love me some Harry Potter, all things witchy, crystals, astrology, a good book, Korean food, Japanese Starbucks and rewatching Gossip Girl for the 100th time.
My passion for photography started at the age of 15 growing up here in Japan. I started my business in 2018 and over the last six years, it's blossomed into a beautiful journey as a professional photographer. Having spent over a decade in Japan, I've found immense inspiration in its beauty and culture. Named after the Japanese word "Natsukashii," my goal is all about capturing moments that bring on the heartwarming feeling of nostalgia.
Specializing in the magical journey of pregnancy and birth, I'm a certified photographer with Birth Becomes You. I have 5 years experience with documenting some of the most incredible birth stories on top of capturing stunning maternity shots and cozy newborn sessions once your babe is Earth side. Outside of that specialty, I’m passionate about capturing all of life’s beautiful moments and milestones – whether it's couples, surprise proposals, families, high school grads or headshots, I'm here to capture your most authentic and beautiful memories. I strive to stand out by creating packages and experiences that are unique and customized to my clients.
Doing what I love brings me so much joy, and I can't wait to share that joy with you through my lens. If you like dancing, tickle fights, being goofy with the love of your life, and just having a good time, let's create and capture memories that will warm your heart for years to come!
Bonus points if you, too, love Disney, Harry Potter, Schitts Creek and trashy reality tv we can talk about during our session ;)
